My favorite vintage item is my mother's massive sunglasses left over from the days when Kennedy was president. She was a dead ringer for Jackie with her oversized glasses and pearls. Long live Camelot!

My favorite was my mom's hand made baby blanket for my kids. This is something that will be handed down for generations. It has sentimental value i guess you can say;-)

I have two scrarves that I treasure. One is from a friend who bought it while in China. It was handmade and I love it.
The second scarf was hand paintedwith floral designs by a 6th grade student. He is desitined to be a creative designer.

I have three favorite handmade objects. One is the pink quilt my mom made me when I was little. I still treasure my little " blankie", and also the ukrainian themed handkerchief and piano cover sheet my mom embroidered.

My grandmother collected favorite clothes for years and finally had enough to create a special quilt from the scraps of fabric. Each quilt block had the name, date, and event embroidered on it, like Sarah, school picture dress, 1986. It is hanging on my bedroom wall now and is so cool every time relatives visit to look at it and reminisce!

My favorite handmade item(s) are a quilt that one grandma made and a knitted blanket that my other grandma made. Both are gone, so they mean that much more even now.
